December 15th Reporting Changes

	Important Information

Hello William Leach,

In our recent communication which described the updates to reporting with our December 15th release there was an error in the description. We stated that the Category report would have a new feature making it easier to drill down into day by day activity, when actually the Campaign report will have this new feature. We will not be changing any of the layout or features associated with the Category report. Here is a description of what you can expect to see:

• When a user runs a Campaign Report, the list of campaigns that appears in the table below the graph will each become a link that will direct the user to a ‘By Day‘ report for the exact same criteria as was run for the Campaign Report, but with the additional Campaign filter that is selected.

We apologize for the earlier miscommunication and hope you find this new feature helpful.

Enhanced Reporting in December Release

	Important Information

In our December 15th release, we have two updates to tell you about.

Based on publisher feedback, we are now requesting payment information within the registration flow. By collecting payment information upfront, new publishers will be able to receive earnings upon completing registration. This will solve the problem of forgetting to enter payment information before the end of the month, and thus causing delays.

The second update is to the reporting functionality and will dramatically increase the amount of data available to you. We have enhanced the Category Report and the Tool/Creative Report to allow publishers to view daily numbers by line, as previously you could only view high level summary data. You will now be able to see how tools, creatives and campaigns perform on a daily basis.

We are continuing to bring innovation and enhancements to the platform and always welcome your feedback.

	Introducing our newest tool - Custom Banner Custom Banner is a new tool that incorporates live eBay listings directly onto your site. It's a customizable flash banner that displays real-time eBay listings based on your search criteria and you can filter the search results based on keyword, category, and more. It allows you to choose from several pre-defined themes or design your own, and it's branded with the "Right Now on eBay" logo and PayPal logos for listings that offer PayPal as a payment method. You can find Custom Banner in the Widgets section of the Tools tab and as it's built into the eBay Partner Network interface, it's incredibly easy to use, so try it today! Learn more eBay Affiliate Teams get out and about Last month the UK Affiliate team had a stand at the UK's biggest affiliate marketing event, the A4U Expo, which was attended by affiliates from across Europe. The eBay Partner Network stand proved very popular and the team spoke to literally hundreds of affiliates about promoting eBay and using the eBay Partner Network. The UK Affiliate Manager, Cian Weeresinghe, gave a talk about using an API successfully as an affiliate and you can read his presentation here. Finally, congratulations to our two winners on each winning a Nintendo Wii for the fastest downhill slalom run and the longest ski jump! The next event the eBay Partner Network team will be attending is the Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas from January 11th to 13th. Category Summary Report We've had great feedback from our affiliates about the Category Summary Report, which allows you to view the product categories in which the buyers you send to eBay end up converting. This information is viewable by program and even down to the campaign level. You can see total ACRUs, Bid/Bins, Winning Bids, and Winning Bid Revenue displayed in your choice of either pie or bar chart options to help you better visualize your performance. To get even greater insight into the buying habits of your users, you can drill down from the main category to sub categories down to the third level. So why not help your users out by directing to them to the Gift Finder available on eBay.com and eBay.co.uk?				Reminder - France Program has moved to Rev Share If you've not been active on the eBay.fr program before, now is the time to start, as from November 1st, the eBay.fr changed the way it rewards its affiliates. Now you are not only paid based on the number of new Active Confirmed Registered Users (ACRUs) you deliver to eBay.fr, but you'll also receive a large share of the revenue generated by the winning Bids and Buy-it-Nows you deliver. You can now earn up to 65% of the revenue you generate and up to €20 per new active user. Learn more				Reminder - Value Based Pricing on the US Program The new Value Based Pricing structure for ACRUs began on November 1st for all publishers that joined the eBay Partner Network prior to August 1st (all publishers that joined since then have already been placed on this system). This means that all ACRUs that are generated from now on will be placed on a payout tier according to the value of the new active eBay users you send.
